Alexandra Gheorghiu
Research work

Alexandra GHEORGHIU is currently teaching assistant and senior researcher at the Centre for European Studies of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania). She holds a PhD in Social Psychology applied to transportation behaviour since 2012 and has 15 years of teaching and research experience at the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, University Blaise Pascal Clermont Ferrand, University Jules Verne, Amiens and the French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, Development and Networks (IFSTTAR).

 

Professional experience

 

She has worked on several projects that investigated resilience in individuals and communities such as ReGrowEU as well as REZILIENT and currently her main research topics are linked to understanding how resilience plays into the well-being of individuals and communities.
