Prof. Yang Chuanyong

Prof. Yang Chuanyong has been an Associate Professor at the School of Public Management and Liberal Arts at Dalian Maritime University in China since June 2016. Prior to this, he served as the Dean of the Shipping Development Research Institute at the same university from  2014 to 2016. In 2006, he was a visiting scholar at Swansea University in Swansea, United Kingdom.

Professional experience

Prof.  Yang Chuanyong is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Management and Liberal Arts at Dalian Maritime University in China. He is also a State-certificated Class 2 Psychological Counselor and Consultant on Sandplay Therapy. His professional experience includes teaching courses on Seamen Psychology and Mental Health Education for college students, conducting research on the mental health of international students in Liaoning, and serving as a part-time psychological consultant. He has also participated in recording an online open course on mental health education for seamen and was a member of the program on psychological services for seamen in COSCO Shipping.
