Universities and Global Climate Challenges

Engagement, roles, and responsibilities

Stay tuned - ResWell is embarking on a new research path:

Universities are critical players in managing crises and addressing climate change.

Two primary roles are crisis response and climate action. Crisis response involves leveraging internal resources and global networks, enhancing societal resilience through immediate support and strategic partnerships. In climate action, universities contribute through research, knowledge dissemination, and facilitating public-private dialogue, positioning themselves as key influencers in policy and practice.

The objectives of this approach include:

Examining how university networks support resilience in crisis situations.

Investigating the impact of knowledge translation on climate action effectiveness.

Exploring universities' role in climate policy and societal leadership.
